Just turned vampire, my khajiit's fur turned from orange to white over her whole body, she's still got default vampire eyes. Come on, that totally just killed my desire to play the vampire side of the DLC. She looks worse than the vanilla vampires did and I don't even know how that's possible... Is that a glitch, do you have to do something in particular to get the orange eyes?
So basically, beast race vampires got no visual improvements whatsoever in this DLC, they look horrible.
Not to mention, it's kind of odd that in Lord form she magically grows a long white ponytail and strange jeweled clothing kind of just forms on her, that's not a biggie because I don't care for the transformation that much. Now I'm not really thrilled about vampires and therefor Dawnguard in general, I suppose I can do the quest line to get all the goodies then cure myself so I don't look like crap.
EDIT:
Oh and apparently you can't even use the face remodeling NPC either, why again are vampires so great? This has totally ruined the DLC for me, I don't want to play another race just so I can enjoy looking like a badass vampire, I just want to use my favorite character. 1.) The absolutely strongest a vampire can get is prioritized on mage and then stealth type. 2.) The best race ia dark elf due to both fire resistance at 50% and unique diologe increasing the aspect of roleplay. (Minus the comments of being afraid of the sun.) 3.). For The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the Xbox 360, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'Best Race/Build to maximise Vampirism'. Race for vampire illusion mage sacrosanct/imperious I am trying to pick a race for an illusion mage and eventual vampire lord. Having trouble picking the best combination of imperious and vampire racisls, dunmer seems good with the free armor + summon and the ability to absorb all vampire racials. Best Skyrim Race for Vampires If you want to play a Vampire, then you HAVE to put a lot of effort into covering their main weakness: Fire. Dunmer can be a nice choice, as they get passive Fire resistance that will cover their weakness. Effect: +50 Points Of Magicka. Ability: Highborn – Magicka Regeneration Is 50% Faster For.
